It opens and plays back on phones, but recording on a phone depends on the browser's mic handling. For sessions you plan to release, use a laptop or tablet with headphones.
Bluetooth headphones add delay the browser can't always measure. Use wired headphones, or drag the take with the Move tool, or nudge it with the Vocal timing fader on the Vocal channel, until it sits on the grid.
